Burrell Communications

Burrell Communications is the oldest multicultural advertising agency in the US, headed by two female co-CEOs who work to elevate marginalized voices. While supporting consumer brands, Burrell has also used its platform to increase awareness of the effects of COVID-19 on the Black community, partnered with the American Red Cross to promote blood donations for sickle cell patients, supported community colleges, the National Park Foundation, and numerous political action committees that promote democratic values.

When a senior staffer retired, it was an opportunity for the Business Affairs department to rethink their processes and their relationship with the rest of the company. A comprehensive assessment was conducted to identify inefficiencies, pain points, mapped the current process, made recommendations, and conducted re-training to increase capacity while increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and saving valuable client hours.
