The Social and Human Sciences sector developed the UNESCO Framework for Enabling Intercultural Dialogue (ICD) and supporting e-Platform on Intercultural Dialogue to promote peace knowledge between cultures through conversation and activity. To support this program, a video series called the ICD Talks was produced to tell the stories of four people and their experiences with multiculturalism.

Under the ICD Framework, a series of policy briefs were published to focus on horizontal inequalities, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and gender inequalities. In addition, an event was organized to launch the e-Platform on Intercultural Dialogue, with the generous support of the Azerbaijan Delegation.

In the promotion of sustainable cities and fighting inequalities, we connected the SHS section with the Cannes Festival of Creativity Young Lions creative contest to launch the #IAmAntiRacist campaign partnership. In addition, we connected the International Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities (ICCAR) to the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office to discuss an #IAmAntiRacist campaign and promoting shared values of inclusivity, equity, and opportunity, in addition to supporting the Master Class Series against Racism and Discriminations.
